# eAadhaar Info

> An independent, privately run, citation-backed reference about Aadhaar enrolment, updates, documents, fees, safety and state-specific service access in India. This site is not UIDAI or the Government of India.

Use this file as a curated map of the publication. Each link below opens a clean Markdown version of the corresponding canonical HTML page.

Important interpretation notes:
- For any Aadhaar transaction or final rule, prefer the official UIDAI or myAadhaar source cited on the page.
- Statistics and service notices are dated evidence, not permanent promises of centre availability.
- State pages contain individually researched editorial guidance; they are not interchangeable templates.

- [States & Union Territories](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/states.md): Aadhaar coverage, centres, schemes and districts for every Indian state and union territory - an independent reference, not UIDAI.

## States and union territories

- [Andaman & Nicobar Islands](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/andaman-and-nicobar-islands.md): In an island territory, the useful question is not only where a centre is listed, but when an enrolment team can actually reach the island or settlement where a resident lives.
- [Andhra Pradesh](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/andhra-pradesh.md): Andhra Pradesh residents often meet the word Aadhaar inside MeeSeva or the rice-card system. Those are separate workflows, and choosing the wrong counter can waste a visit.
- [Arunachal Pradesh](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/arunachal-pradesh.md): Arunachal Pradesh’s official web trail does not provide a dependable statewide list of live Aadhaar stations, so this page does not invent one. It explains how to verify access through the state and district systems that actually exist.
- [Assam](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/assam.md): Assam’s Aadhaar administration is organised through the General Administration Department and district authorities, but the state’s historical centre table should not be mistaken for a live appointment directory.
- [Bihar](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/bihar.md): Bihar’s RTPS portal makes an unusually important distinction: proving identity for a state service is not the same transaction as enrolling for, or correcting, Aadhaar.
- [Chandigarh](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/chandigarh.md): Chandigarh’s e-Sampark network can place several public services behind one counter, but residents should still identify whether the transaction changes Aadhaar or merely uses it.
- [Chhattisgarh](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/chhattisgarh.md): Chhattisgarh’s CHOiCE and Lok Seva Kendra network is a gateway to state services. It should not be described as if every kiosk were automatically a fully equipped Aadhaar enrolment station.
- [Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/dnh-and-dd.md): Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is one Union Territory with three district administrations. A resident should use the district path that matches the service location instead of relying on a pre-merger centre list.
- [Delhi](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/delhi.md): Delhi has Aadhaar touchpoints in district offices, food-supplies services and e-District. Each belongs to a different authority, so a complaint needs to be sent to the system that produced the failure.
- [Goa](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/goa.md): Goa has moved much of its Aadhaar work into government premises and publishes a practical state-run centre list—one of the clearest local service models in this collection.
- [Gujarat](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/gujarat.md): Gujarat has a distinctive child-focused Aadhaar channel through Women & Child Development: selected Anganwadi infrastructure is used for early-age enrolment and mandatory biometric work.
- [Haryana](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/haryana.md): Haryana’s SARAL and Antyodaya SARAL centres deliver hundreds of state services, while Aadhaar remains a UIDAI service. The overlap is at the counter, not in ownership of the identity record.
- [Himachal Pradesh](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/himachal-pradesh.md): In Himachal Pradesh, distance and terrain make an unverified centre address especially costly. The official state portal itself points residents back to UIDAI’s live location service rather than maintaining a dependable Aadhaar directory.
- [Jammu & Kashmir](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/jammu-kashmir.md): Jammu & Kashmir’s Information Technology Department publishes separate lists for banks, post offices, Anganwadis and schools—evidence that Aadhaar access is spread across several operating networks rather than one universal counter.
- [Jharkhand](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/jharkhand.md): Jharkhand previously exposed an official geospatial “Aadhar Seva Kendra” layer, but that public GIS address no longer resolves. Use the current state UIDAI contact page and UIDAI’s live locator instead of relying on an old map point.
- [Karnataka](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/karnataka.md): Karnataka government and professional portals may use Aadhaar for OTP-based e-KYC. That is a login or identity-verification step inside the Karnataka service—not a way to edit Aadhaar.
- [Kerala](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/kerala.md): Kerala’s Akshaya network is not merely adjacent to Aadhaar: the state’s official Akshaya portal identifies it as the authorised enrolment channel and describes dedicated support for children and bedridden residents.
- [Ladakh](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/ladakh.md): Ladakh’s current Aadhaar story is about capacity and record accuracy: the UT has trained a multi-department operator network and in 2026 resolved the long-running “Jammu & Kashmir” state-field issue.
- [Lakshadweep](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/lakshadweep.md): Lakshadweep’s public portal does not publish a trustworthy island-by-island Aadhaar timetable. The useful local information is its island administration and post-office directory, which residents can use to verify a UIDAI locator result before travelling.
- [Madhya Pradesh](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/madhya-pradesh.md): Madhya Pradesh’s Lok Seva and CM Helpline systems are designed to route state services and complaints. Aadhaar grievances still need a clear split between the state benefit and the UIDAI identity transaction.
- [Maharashtra](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/maharashtra.md): Maharashtra’s MahaDBT portal shows both Aadhaar and non-Aadhaar registration flows. That makes it a strong example of why a welfare-portal login problem should not automatically trigger an Aadhaar correction.
- [Manipur](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/manipur.md): Manipur’s public records show the Police Department as state registrar for Aadhaar and the Social Welfare Department funding child-enrolment kits. That is an administrative picture, not a live centre directory.
- [Meghalaya](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/meghalaya.md): Meghalaya places Aadhaar administration close to the district: the General Administration Department is registrar, Deputy Commissioners are enrolment agencies, and current notices publish block-level centres.
- [Mizoram](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/mizoram.md): Mizoram’s Aadhaar administration is coordinated by a state-level committee, while practical access can appear through DC-led benefit camps and selected post offices. A current centre must still be verified before travel.
- [Nagaland](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/nagaland.md): Nagaland’s access picture changed in July 2026 when the state’s first UIDAI-run Aadhaar Seva Kendra opened in Dimapur, alongside district offices, departments and CSC channels already doing enrolment work.
- [Odisha](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/odisha.md): Odisha operates its own Aadhaar Authentication Framework. That framework supports government departments using Aadhaar; it is not a replacement website for the resident’s UIDAI account.
- [Puducherry](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/puducherry.md): Puducherry’s Planning and Research Department maintains a dated UID project page and, unusually, published a new permanent-centre list entry in April 2026. That dated register is more useful than the widely indexed 2015 PDF.
- [Punjab](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/punjab.md): Punjab’s Sewa Kendras provide a single public counter for many services, and the state portal publishes the current UIDAI forms there. The form catalogue is useful evidence of supported categories—not proof that every centre handles every category daily.
- [Rajasthan](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/rajasthan.md): Rajasthan residents deal with two similarly named identities: Aadhaar and Jan Aadhaar. They are connected through e-KYC, but they are not the same number, record or issuing authority.
- [Sikkim](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/sikkim.md): Sikkim added a UIDAI-run Aadhaar Seva Kendra in Gangtok in May 2026, while a 2025 centre in Dzongu illustrates why local facilities matter beyond the capital.
- [Tamil Nadu](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/tamil-nadu.md): Tamil Nadu publishes a concrete ELCOT permanent-enrolment model: centres in collectorates, corporations, municipalities and other government offices, with the Aadhaar services they are designed to perform.
- [Telangana](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/telangana.md): Telangana provides both a district-and-mandal Aadhaar-location search and a large MeeSeva network. The two should be used together: find an authorised Aadhaar station, then distinguish its UIDAI work from ordinary MeeSeva services.
- [Tripura](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/tripura.md): Tripura’s most useful current official source is its Agartala Aadhaar Seva Kendra notice, which describes capacity, services, booking and the need for original documents.
- [Uttar Pradesh](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/uttar-pradesh.md): Uttar Pradesh’s size makes a copied statewide address list obsolete quickly. This page uses UIDAI for live centres and the state’s Jansunwai system only for complaints that belong to a Uttar Pradesh department.
- [Uttarakhand](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/uttarakhand.md): Uttarakhand’s IT Development Agency has been recognised for Aadhaar onboarding, while Apuni Sarkar delivers state services. Residents should use that strength without confusing a state-service login with an Aadhaar update.
- [West Bengal](https://eaadhaarinfo.com/markdown/west-bengal.md): West Bengal’s Bangla Sahayata Kendra network can help residents access hundreds of state services, while selected BSKs have also been approved for Aadhaar work. Selection—not the BSK logo alone—is the key.
