# Uttar Pradesh

> Uttar Pradesh’s size makes a copied statewide address list obsolete quickly. This page uses UIDAI for live centres and the state’s Jansunwai system only for complaints that belong to a Uttar Pradesh department.

Canonical page: https://eaadhaarinfo.com/uttar-pradesh

Important: eAadhaar Info is an independent reference publication. It is not UIDAI or a Government of India website. For transactions, current rules and final verification, use the official UIDAI or myAadhaar service linked by the article.

## Search locally, not from a static list

Use UIDAI’s locator with a PIN code and verify the result with the named bank, post office or district office. In a 75-district state, a list copied from a tender, district page or old news item cannot safely represent current coverage.

## Jansunwai’s boundary

Uttar Pradesh’s Jansunwai-Samadhan portal accepts and tracks complaints across state-government levels. The portal itself tells users to use CPGRAMS for Government of India organisations. UIDAI is a central statutory authority, so an Aadhaar processing grievance should normally use UIDAI/CPGRAMS rather than being misrouted as a state complaint.

## When a state scheme is involved

If a UP department denies or delays a state benefit because authentication failed, the complaint concerns that department’s implementation and exception handling. Include the scheme application number and error. If the underlying Aadhaar update is rejected, raise a separate UIDAI complaint with its request number.

Two systems, two references: keep the UP application or grievance number beside the UIDAI EID/update request number. That prevents each helpdesk from being asked to trace the other organisation’s case.

The screenshot supports the complaint-routing distinction: Uttar Pradesh departments use Jansunwai; central organisations are directed toward CPGRAMS.

- 1 State grievance portal The Uttar Pradesh government identity marks the owner of Jansunwai.
- 2 Central-government route The page itself points other-state/Government of India grievances to CPGRAMS.
- 3 UP complaint tracking Jansunwai messages and references remain within the state system.
