# Uttarakhand

> Uttarakhand’s IT Development Agency has been recognised for Aadhaar onboarding, while Apuni Sarkar delivers state services. Residents should use that strength without confusing a state-service login with an Aadhaar update.

## The state digital layer

The Department of Information Technology, Good Governance and Science Technology publishes a dedicated Aadhaar service page naming the eight participating networks, while Apuni Sarkar delivers state certificates and other citizen services. That establishes the state’s integration role; it does not mean Apuni Sarkar owns the resident’s UIDAI record.

## Hill access needs confirmation

For enrolment or biometric work, use UIDAI’s PIN-based centre search and confirm the centre or camp through the district/tehsil before travel. Ask whether the selected facility can perform the exact transaction and whether weather or local scheduling has affected operations.

## Apuni Sarkar authentication problems

If a state certificate application fails during Aadhaar verification, first compare the application entry with Aadhaar and capture the portal error. Use Apuni Sarkar/ITDA support for the integration. Change Aadhaar only where the UIDAI record is factually wrong or its mobile/biometric data needs updating.

A screenshot of the state IT page proves that ITDA operates the digital-governance layer; it is not evidence that a particular Common Service Centre is open today.

Uttarakhand IT Department — Aadhaar
The page supports Uttarakhand’s multi-department delivery structure. Its aggregate counts do not prove that a particular machine or centre is active today.

- 1 Official IT department The Uttarakhand department identity confirms the state-side publisher.
- 2 Aadhaar service page The page is specifically filed under Aadhaar.
- 3 Participating departments The list describes networks involved in enrolment/update services, not walk-in availability.
