Chandigarh

Chandigarh’s e-Sampark network can place several public services behind one counter, but residents should still identify whether the transaction changes Aadhaar or merely uses it.

What the live e-Sampark page establishes

e-Sampark’s current service table lists “Enrolment/updation of aadhaar” under UIDAI. The same page publishes the e-Sampark helpline and a notice about Aadhaar service on Sundays at named centres. That is useful state-side guidance, but residents should call before travelling because branch schedules and kit availability can change after a web notice is posted.

At the counter

  1. Ask whether that branch is operating an Aadhaar station on the day of the visit.
  2. State the precise transaction: enrolment, demographic field, mobile/email, biometrics, document update or print.
  3. Check the operator’s preview character by character.
  4. Take the UIDAI acknowledgement; an e-Sampark receipt alone may relate to a different state service.

Use current fees only

The service page proves the category of work, not today’s UIDAI charge. Before paying, compare the amount displayed at the station with UIDAI’s current fee notice. Printing, photography or unrelated facilitation should not be silently described as an Aadhaar update fee. Request an itemised receipt if the total is unclear.
