Corrections & Grievances

Readers, departments and rights-holders can report a factual error, broken official link, privacy concern or objection to reused government material.

How to report an issue

Email with the page URL, the sentence or link concerned, why it may be wrong, and a current primary source where possible. Use a clear subject such as “Correction: Fees page”.

Without JavaScript: write to contact [at] eaadhaarinfo [dot] com.

Do not send identity data

Never include an Aadhaar number, EID, OTP, biometric, document scan, QR code, application receipt or payment detail. This publication cannot inspect or resolve individual Aadhaar records. Contact UIDAI on 1947 or through its official grievance route for account-specific help.

Review standard

We check material against primary official sources, the page’s stated review date and any archived edition used. We aim to acknowledge a sufficiently detailed report within seven calendar days. Complex source disputes can take longer.

What happens after review

If a material error is confirmed, we correct the page, update its editorial-review date and preserve a clear explanation where the old statement could have affected a transaction. If we do not change the page, we retain the source reasoning needed to explain the decision.

Government and rights-holder requests

A government department or rights-holder objecting to a screenshot, annotation or description should identify the material and the basis of the request. We will review promptly and may remove the material while the issue is assessed.
