Jharkhand
Jharkhand previously exposed an official geospatial “Aadhar Seva Kendra” layer, but that public GIS address no longer resolves. Use the current state UIDAI contact page and UIDAI’s live locator instead of relying on an old map point.
Why the old GIS screenshot remains here
Jharkhand’s State GIS previously showed an Aadhar Seva Kendra discovery layer. The captured page documents that state-side approach, but the public GIS URL returned 404 during the 25 August 2026 review. It is therefore evidence of a former directory—not a live centre locator. Start with the current Jharkhand UIDAI page and confirm any location through UIDAI before travelling.
JharSewa is a different system
The Jharkhand state portal links both JharSewa and e-Aadhaar. A resident may use Aadhaar to identify themselves in a certificate or welfare application, but JharSewa does not thereby become an Aadhaar correction portal. Preserve the state application number and the UIDAI request number separately.
If authentication fails at a benefit counter
Jharkhand scheme notifications describe a sequence that can include iris or face authentication, OTP/TOTP, and QR verification of the physical Aadhaar letter where appropriate. These are departmental remedial mechanisms. Ask the scheme officer to apply the notified exception instead of repeatedly attempting a fingerprint that is known to fail.
An old map can only answer “where was a facility once listed?” UIDAI’s current locator and the named office must answer whether it is operating now. A UIDAI acknowledgement—not a map point—traces an Aadhaar request.
What the government page actually shows
The screenshot records the former state GIS discovery page, whose public URL returned 404 on 25 August 2026. The link now opens the current Jharkhand UIDAI page; confirm every location before travel.
- 1Former official GIS
This captured JSAC page documented the state GIS before its public URL stopped resolving.
- 2Historical discovery tools
The catalogue located map layers; it never traced a UIDAI request or proved a centre was still open.
Jharkhand data snapshot
The figures below come from UIDAI’s state/UT saturation report. They provide context for coverage; they do not identify a live centre or prove that every resident record is current.
UIDAI refreshes this report PDF in place. The figures on this page reflect the report dated 30 June 2026; the current UIDAI link may show a newer or older edition. Open the archived 30 June 2026 edition.
