Manipur’s first UIDAI-run Aadhaar Seva Kendra opened in Imphal West on 30 July 2026. State budget records still matter for the wider Police and Social Welfare delivery network, especially outside Imphal.
The Imphal West ASK
UIDAI’s release places the centre at House No. 16398/85, Sagolband, Thokchom Leikkai, Keisampat, Imphal West, Manipur 795001. It reports five operational kits, enrolment, demographic and biometric updates, grievance support, and opening on all days except public holidays. Confirm the current appointment or walk-in position before travelling.
Outside Imphal, verify the operating network
State budget documents identify Police as a state registrar and separately fund child-enrolment kits through Social Welfare/ICDS. That shows more than one government channel can participate, but it does not establish which kit is active today. Search UIDAI, then confirm the district office or institution operating the result.
e-Services Manipur is not UIDAI
The state’s e-District material describes applications routed through SDO, SDC and Deputy Commissioner offices. Aadhaar may identify an applicant or a CSC operator inside that system, but an e-District certificate request and an Aadhaar update remain separately traceable processes.
The July release carried an older child-MBU waiver date. The service facts above come from that dated launch record; fee and waiver information on this site is taken from UIDAI’s newer charge sheet.
What the government page actually shows
The dated launch release supports the Imphal address, five-kit capacity and service scope. Its older MBU waiver date is superseded by UIDAI’s current charge sheet.
