Mizoram
Mizoram’s Aadhaar administration is coordinated by a state-level committee, while practical access can appear through DC-led benefit camps and selected post offices. A current centre must still be verified before travel.
Who coordinates the ecosystem
A 2023 Mizoram Gazette notification reconstituted the state UID implementation committee under the Chief Secretary, with General Administration, IT, Census, UIDAI, India Post, banks and CSC representation. It explains why Aadhaar services may surface through different institutions.
Camps are events, not directories
An Aizawl district campaign notice assigned Aadhaar work to the DC office during a benefit-saturation drive. It is useful evidence of district delivery, but its dates have passed. A resident should look for a current district notice rather than treating the campaign venue as permanently open.
AePDS errors belong to Food & Civil Supplies first
Mizoram’s AePDS portal publishes UID seeding and authentication information for ration delivery. A ration e-KYC failure may be in PDS mapping or connectivity. Record the shop and error, use the food-supplies grievance route, and change Aadhaar only if UIDAI’s record itself needs correction.
What the government page actually shows
The working AePDS homepage replaces a dead deep report link. It supports the article’s PDS-authentication distinction; it is not an Aadhaar update page.
- 1System owner
The header identifies Mizoram Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
- 2PDS transaction data
The dashboard reports ration-system activity, not Aadhaar enrolment status.
- 3Department reports
UID seeding and e-KYC reports remain inside the AePDS context.
Mizoram data snapshot
The figures below come from UIDAI’s state/UT saturation report. They provide context for coverage; they do not identify a live centre or prove that every resident record is current.
UIDAI refreshes this report PDF in place. The figures on this page reflect the report dated 30 June 2026; the current UIDAI link may show a newer or older edition. Open the archived 30 June 2026 edition.
